Kathmandu!

In diesem Namen schwingt Mystik, umfasst er doch 2000 Jahre Geschichte, Religion und Geisteshaltung Nepals.

Und so geheimnisvoll sich Natur, Religion und Gebräuche Nepals für den Westen darstellen, so geheimnisvoll präsentiert sich unser Kater dem Betrachter: Die Schnauze eines Löwen, die Ohren eines Feldhasen, die Größe eines Tigers, das Gewicht eines Elefanten, die Schwanzlänge eines Schneeleoparden, gefärbt wie ein Flamingo und die Eleganz eines Panthers.

Wenn Kathmandu erscheint, dann tritt er direkt aus dem Fabelreich und geruht zu uns zu kommen. So wie ein Elf geht er auf Menschen zu, vertrauensvoll, liebenswürdig, aber immer aristokratisch. Er vergreift sich nie mit seiner Kraft, sondern begegnet Mensch und Tier liebenswürdig und sehr sanftmütig. Aber er kann auch in seiner Kratzbaum“pagode“ in philosophische Betrachtung verfallen, um nach absolvierten Jagdspielen mit der Purrfect Coon Familie entsprechend zu regenerieren, um so für neue Taten fit zu sein.

Die nötige Kondition und Muskelkraft bringt er in einem extrem hohen Maß mit, wiegt er doch mit 8 Monaten bereits 7 Kilo!

Vielleicht wäre noch zu erwähnen, dass , ganz in das Bild Kathmandu's passend, das Schicksal ihn zu uns kommen ließ:
Es war einfach Fügung des Schicksals, dass er zu den Purrfect Coons kam.

Ganz besonders möchten wir uns bei dir, liebe Wally, für ihn bedanken.

Du hast uns und im Besonderen unserer Tochter Mariella einen langersehnten Traum wahr werden lassen.

Kathmandu wurde am 7.8.2009 negativ HCM und PKD geschallt :)

Kathmandu!

In this name mysticism is swinging. Nevertheless, it encloses 2000 years of history, religion and mentality of Nepal.

And as mysteriously nature, religion and customs of Nepal are offering themselves to our western world, so mysteriously our cat is presenting itself to the viewer:
The snout of a lion, the ears of a field hare, the size of a tiger, the weight of an elephant, the tail length of a snow leopard, the colour of a flamingo and the elegance of a panther.

When Kathmandu is appearing, he seems to step directly from the empire of fables and to deign to present himself. He is approaching elf-like to persons - kindly, friendly, but always aristocratically. He is never abusing his strength, but rather meeting people and other pets in an always gentle manner.

You can find Kathmandu in philosophic contemplation in his cat tree “Pagoda” – to regenerate after hunting games within the Purrfect Coon Family. For those games he is well-prepared by his fitness and muscle power - nevertheless, he is weighing almost 7 kg with 8 months.

Maybe we should mention – to complete the impression of Kathmandu - that destiny had lead him to the Purrfect Coon Family.
